Post Office Agreement of 1904
(100 words)

Postal agreement of February 28th, 1904, with the Shaikh of Kuwait.

(Translation.)

As the British Government has agreed, in accordance with my desire and for the benefit of traders, to establish a Post Office at Kuwait, I, on my part, agree not to allow the establishment of a Post Office here by any other Government.

I accordingly write this undertaking on behalf of myself and my successors.

(L. S.) MUBARAK-US-SUBAH.
