[8ccc] Baluchistan is bordered by the Indian Ocean on the south, Sind on the east, Afghanistan on the north, and Kirman and Luristan on the west. It has 600 miles of coastline on the Indian Ocean. The province is some 350 miles wide and its total area is about 146,000 sq. miles. The region is divided into several districts. One is Kuhistan in the northwestern part of the province.
