[994c] In the first days of this month, Prince Hayat Allah Khan entered Fayzabad, Badakhshan, traveling along and administering justice. General Hajji Gul Khan came to formally welcome him with all the people there, both civilian and military. Then, with the aim of setting up summer quarters, the prince rode to Baharak and camped and from there began to administer government business and straighten out affairs in the province.
