[1217c] In this month Mulla Muhammad Ghaws Khan, agent for the sale of karakul skins in Bukhara, using the proceedscxliii from the sale of karakul, purchased 14,536 qadaqs and fifty-one misqals of silver ingots, /3:369/ each qadaq weighing eighty-eight misqals. The number of ingots purchased was 1,3281 for the sum of two lakhs, 5,780 sums which is equivalent to thirteen lakhs 71,866 tangahs. He sent the ingots from Bukhara to Mazar-i Sharif accompanied by Muhammad Akbar Khan, son of Habib Allah Khan Jawanshayr, the bursar for karakul skins…
