1. Inception
The Union of Arab Republics (Ittiḥād al-djumhūriyyat al-‘arabiyya) comprises Egypt, Libya, and Syria. These three countries, while keeping their own individual personalities both internally and internationally, have so bound themselves together as to create a new entity, known as the Union of Arab Republics (UAR).
