In Mark 6:3 Jesus is called the “son of Mary” and the “brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon”. Sisters are mentioned but remain anonymous and uncounted. The parallel in Matt 13:55 uses the order James, Joseph, Simon, and Jude. The sisters remain anonymous and do not reappear elsewhere in the NT. Luke 8:19–21 mentions only Jesus' mother and brothers (without names).
