The Lorber Society (Lorber- Gesellschaft) was established in Bietigheim (Württemberg) in 1949. It succeeded the Neusalem Gesellschaft, which was founded in 1924 and banned in 1937. Its objective is to preserve the original text of the revelations received by the musician Jakob Lorber (1800–1864) from Graz, Austria, and to publish them worldwide (known by the name Neuoffenbarung [new revelation]).
