(Sep 1535, Cuenca, Spain – Oct 12, 1600, Madrid) became a Jesuit in 1553 and studied philosophy as well as theology. He initally taught philosophy in Coimbra and theology in Evora from 1568. He was professor of moral theology at the Jesuit college in Madrid in the year of his death.
