Tantra denotes a practical path (sādhanā) on which ritual, physical (Body control techniques: III), and mental techniques are used to achieve worldly pleasure (bhukti) and extraordinary proficiencies (siddhi), or to be delivered from all worldly ties (mukti) during one’s lifetime.
