§ 1512. For the Kitāb i Mullā-zādah, which was written probably in the 9th/15th century by Aḥmad b. Maḥmūd called (madʿū) Muʿīn al-fuqarāʾ and which contains notices of s̲h̲aik̲h̲s and others buried at Buk̲h̲ārā, see no. 1272 supra.

§ 1514. For the Mud̲h̲akkir i aḥbāb (a chronogram = 974/1566–7) of “Nit̲h̲ārī”, which contains notices of 275 poets who lived in Buk̲h̲ārā or its dependencies after the time of Mīr ʿAlī-S̲h̲īr, see no. 1102 supra.

§ 1515. ʿAbd al-Karīm b. Maḥmūd Qāḍī b. Nūr al-Dīn M. Qāḍī, known as Qāḍī Ik̲h̲tiyār. began in 1009/1600–1:—

ʿAwālim al-asrār fī g̲h̲arāʾib al-asfār (beginning: Majmūʿah i ʿAwālim al-a. fī g̲h̲. al-a. az ṣādirāt i ʿawālim i āfāqī … u bayān i aḥwāl i akābir i maḥrūsah i Buk̲h̲ārā), an interesting account of travels in Transoxiana and K̲h̲urāsān, to Kābul, etc., together with biographies of distinguished men, s̲h̲aik̲h̲s, poets, and others, who lived at Buk̲h̲ārā in the author’s time: Ethé 2723.

§ 1516. For the Tārīk̲h̲ i Jahāngīrī, which was begun in 1034/1625 by “Muṭribī” al-Aṣamm al-Samarqandī and which deals with poets of Transoxiana, see no. 1118 supra.

§ 1517. For the Tārīk̲h̲ i Mīr Saiyid S̲h̲arīf Rāqim, a collection of chronograms relating to kings, divines, men of letters, etc., who flourished in Central Asia from the birth of Tīmūr in 736/1336 to 1054/1644–5, see no. 506 supra.

§ 1518. For the Maṭlab al-ṭālibīn of Abū ’l-ʿAbbās M. Ṭālib, which was written about 1056/1646 and deals with Jūybārī s̲h̲aik̲h̲s, see no. 1326 supra.

§ 1519. For the T̲h̲amarāt al-mas̲h̲āyik̲h̲ of S. Zindah ʿAlī, which was written towards the end of the eleventh/seventeenth century and deals with Central Asian s̲h̲aik̲h̲s of various orders, see no. 1335 supra.
