¶ § 157. M. Mahdī al-Tabrīzī.
- (Risālah i lug̲h̲āt i Turkī) (beg. Ḥamd u sipās i bī-ḥadd u qiyās Mutakallimī rā sazad), a copious vocabulary and a short grammar of the Turkish dialect spoken in Īrān and Ād̲h̲arbāyjān written for S. Aḥmad K̲h̲ān Bahādur, at whose residence in Jahāngīrnagar (i.e. Dacca) the author had been kindly received at the close of 1198/1784: ʿAlīgaṛh Subḥ. mss. p. 56 no. 20 ( ah 1209/1794–5), Rieu iii 998a (circ. ad 1850).
