§ 457. Mīrzā ʿAbd al-Raḥīm “Suhail” b. M. Ibrāhīm Dunbulī Kās̲h̲ānī was entrusted by the Governor of Kās̲h̲ān with the duty of answering a questionary drawn up by the Parsee Māṇekjī1 and sent by order of Nāṣir al-Dīn S̲h̲āh Qājār to the different Persian provinces. In nine months he wrote his

- Mir’āt al-Qāsān2 (sic, according to Rieu), a geographical and historical account of Kās̲h̲ān, completed in Muḥarram 1288/1871: Majlis 272 (ah 1294/1877), Rieu Suppt. 99 (ah 1304/1887).
