^ Back to text26. Presumably a description rather than a title.
^ Back to text27. [Ivanow gives g̲h̲arāʾib, but Storey apparently preferred g̲h̲arābīb for the rhyme. The other catalogues do not mention this part of the title. v.s.]
^ Back to text28. The K̲h̲. al-a. is described in the D̲h̲arīʿah as containing 360 majālis(one for each day of the year) grouped in seven volumes with individual titles, namely, (1) Jāmiʿ al-nūrain[fī aḥwāl al-insān: cf. D̲h̲arīʿah v p. 75], (2) Majmaʿ al-nūrain [or al-Bahāʾim: cf. D̲h̲arīʿah iii p. 157], (3) K. al-Malāʾikah, (4) K. al-S̲h̲aiṭān, (5) K. al-Jannah wa-’l-Nār (cf. D̲h̲arīʿah v p. 163 no. 692), (6) al-Ṭuyūr, (7) Yad u minbar. It will be noticed that Majmaʿ al-nūrain, given in the Mas̲h̲had catalogue as the title of the whole works, is here the title of vol. ii. Similarly K̲h̲arj al-aiyām, given in the D̲h̲arīʿah as the title of the whole work, occurs in the Mas̲h̲had catalogue as that of one of the separate volumes (= Yad u minbar).
