¶ § 529. Tārīk̲h̲ i ṣug̲h̲rā [so, but without vocalisation, in Semenov Ukazatel’], a work containing the history of the ruler of K̲h̲ōqand in the first half of the 18th century: British Museum (see Semenov Ukazatel’, p. 13).

§ 531. K̲h̲wājah M. Ḥakīm K̲h̲ān Tūrā b. Maʿṣūm K̲h̲ān was S̲h̲aik̲h̲ al-Islām in the reign of his relative M. ʿUmar K̲h̲ān, the K̲h̲ān of K̲h̲ōqand.
- Muntak̲h̲ab al-tawārīk̲h̲, a large work containing first a brief history of the Muḥammadan world and then, in autobiographical form, a history of Central Asia and especially Farg̲h̲ānah to the death of Atālīq K̲h̲ān in 1259/1843:1 Tashkent (private library of Prof. Semenov. Copy corrected by the author. See Semenov Kurzer Abriss p. 9 and Ukazatel’ p. 27, where it is said that copies of the Persian original (as opposed to the Eastern-Turkish translation) are very rare).

§ 533. ʿAbd al-G̲h̲afūr wrote
- Ẓafar-nāmah i K̲h̲udā-Yār-K̲h̲ānī, a poem on the first reign (1845–58) of K̲h̲udā-Yār K̲h̲ān of K̲h̲ōqand: Tashkent Central Asian State Lib. (see Semenov Ukazatel’ p. 21, where a reference is given to Barthold Otchet o komandirovke v Turkestan. Avgust-Dekabr 1920 g. (Pril. k protok. Zased. Otd. Istorichesk. Nauk i Filologii Ross. Akad. Nauk 29 iyūnya 1921 g.) pp. 55–6).
§ 534. Mīrzā ʿAzīz b. M. Riḍā Marg̲h̲īlānī was in government service in the reigns of Muḥammad ʿAlī (ah 1237/1821–2–1258/1842), S̲h̲īr-ʿAlī (1842–5), K̲h̲udā-yār (1845–58 and 1865–75) and Mallā (1858–62).
- Tārīk̲h̲ i ʿAzīzī, a history of the k̲h̲ānate of K̲h̲ōqand, quite unsystematic but divisible into three parts (1) history of the Mongols and a summary account of other rulers in Central Asia, (2) (pp. 236–354) history of Farg̲h̲ānah, (3) (pp. 355–93) history of the town of Marg̲h̲īlān with short notices of its celebrated men: ms. in private possession (see Semenov Ukazatel’ p. 13, where a reference is given to A.Z. Validov Vostochnye rukopisi v Ferganskoi oblasti (in Zapiski Vost. Otd. Imp. Russ. Arkheol. Obshchestva, xxii) p. 310).
§ 535. Mullā ʿIwaḍ Muḥammad b. Mullā Rūzī [?] Muḥammad Ṣūfī ʿAṭṭār was an eye-witness of events in the reigns of Muḥammad. ʿAlī, S̲h̲īr ʿAlī and K̲h̲udā-Yār K̲h̲ān.
- Tuḥfat al-tawārīk̲h̲ i K̲h̲ānī, a history of the k̲h̲ānate of K̲h̲ōqand completed in 1283/1866: Leningrad Mus. Asiat. (Autograph. See Semenov Kurzer Abriss p. 9, Zapiski Vostochn. Otd. Imp. Russ. Arkheol. Obshchestva xv p. 272 and Semenov Ukazatel’ pp. 16 (Jahān-nāmah) and 31).
Properly this work forms the second volume of a general history entitled Jahān-nāmah. Both volumes are in the Asiatic Museum at Leningrad.
§ 536. Mullā ʿAlī Qāriʾ Qunduzī died in 1283/1866–7.
- Tawārīk̲h̲ i manẓūmah, a collection of chronograms relating to the history of the k̲h̲ānate of K̲h̲ōqand from 1238/1822 (the death of ‘Umar K̲h̲ān) to 1283/1866–7: ms. in private possession (see Semenov Ukazatel’ p. 15, where a reference is given to Validov Vostochnye rukopisi v Ferganskoi oblasti (in Zapiski Vost. Otd. Imp. Russ. Arkheol. Obshchestva, xxii) p. 304).
¶ § 537. Mullā M. S̲h̲ag̲h̲āwal,2 governor of Yārkand for Yaʿqūb Bēg, wrote
- Ḥadīqat al-ḥaqāʾiq, a history of the k̲h̲ānate of K̲h̲ōqand extending in the only known copy to the time of Madalī (Muḥammad ʿAlī) K̲h̲ān of K̲h̲ōqand: ms. in private possession (see Semenov Ukazatel’ p. 17).
§ 538. Mullā Niyāz Muḥammad b. Mullā ʿAs̲h̲ūr Muḥammad K̲h̲ōqandī belonged to a family which had rendered devoted service to the K̲h̲āns of K̲h̲ōqand.
- Tawārīk̲h̲ i S̲h̲ahruk̲h̲īyah or Tārīk̲h̲ i S̲h̲ahruk̲h̲ī, a history of K̲h̲ōqand (Farg̲h̲ānah) under the Uzbak dynasty founded in 1121/1709–10 by S̲h̲āh-Ruk̲h̲ Bī until the year 1288/1871–2, the date of composition, in the reign of K̲h̲udā-Yār K̲h̲ān, the last of the dynasty: Salemann-Rosen p. 12 no. 942, Leningrad Mus. Asiat. (see Mélanges asiatiques ix (St. Petersburg 1888 (1880–8), p. 385.
In Semenov Ukazatel’ p. 13 is mentioned another ms., in private possession, with a continuation to ad 1900 by Mīrzā Yādgār Ak̲h̲sīkatī, and a reference is given to A.Z. Validov Vostochnye rukopisi v Ferganskoi oblasti (Zapiski Vost. Otd. Imp. Russ. Arkheol. Obshchestva, xxii) p. 311.

§ 539. Mullā Mīrzā ʿAlīm b. Mullā Raḥīm Tās̲h̲kandī wrote
