Abstract This article explores the translations into Latin of Greek philosophical texts from the Carolingian Renaissance to William of Moerbeke. It concentrates mostly on the transmission of the works of two authors who have had the most significant influence on Western thought: Pseudo-Dionysius and Aristotle.
