[German version] A., of Alexandria, worked during the first half of the second cent. as doctor and writer. He wrote about medicines and sympathetic remedies [1; 2]. The manuscripts also count among the writings of A. a treatise about toxicology , the core of which originated in A.'s time and which was apparently one of the main sources for Aetius  of Amida, even if it shows signs of revisions in the meantime.
