[English version] (Κεραύνια ὄρη). Das nördlichste Küstengebirge von Epeiros (Strab. 7,5,8; 7,6,1; 7,7,5), h. Rëza e Kanalit (oder Karaburun) in Albanien. Es beginnt im Süden beim Gebirge Çikë (2045 m) und endet im Norden in dem weit vorspringenden Kap Akrokeraunia. Die schroffe Kalkmauer (H bis 1593 m) ist wegen der häufigen Gewitter gefürchtet, nach denen das “Gewittergebirge” benannt ist. Nur im Süden finden sich ant.
