Il. 2,648 (Hinweis auf Bevölkerungsreichtum). Überregionale Bed. besaß Rh. als Kultstätte des Zeus Skylios [1. 141]. Polit. war Rh. von Gortyn abhängig (Strab. 10,4,14).
