[German Version] (Qóm). Cosmogony and ethnogenesis. In their own language, which belongs to the Guaycurú family of languages, the Toba refer to themselves as Qóm (“person,” “people”). Most of them currently inhabit the eastern strip of the southern and central Chaco region (Paraguay).
