The Mahāyāna sūtra entitled Sarvatathāgatatattvasaṃgraha (Compendium of the Reality of All Tathāgatas) is said to have taken its primary shape in the second half of the 7th century, slightly after the Vairocanābhisaṃbodhi, in South India (Yoritomi, 2005, 44).
