Tall cliff on Mount Gerania above the Saronic Gulf (Hdt. 8,71; Pol. 16,16,4; Str. 9,1,4) west of Megara [2], still referred to as Kaki Skala ('dangerous climb') to the present day. The coastal pass from which - according to legend - Sciron pushed travellers into the sea (cf. Diod. Sic. 4,59,4) was notoriously dangerous.
