Karaim is a Kipchak Turkic language that existed in several varieties. Its only surviving branch is Northwest Karaim, spoken today by 21 individuals living in Lithuania in the cities of Trakai, Vilnius, Panevėžys, and Naujamiestis, and one speaker living in Poland (as of February 2023).
