Aside from six short fragments (SH 535-540) the Deípnon Attikón survives due to Athenaeus (SH 534). BC: light, jesting poetry (though resulting from artistic dedication) sings the delights of the stomach and the table. (Ἡγέμων; Hēgémōn). [German version] [1] Of Thasos, poet of Comedies, first professional parodist, 5th cent. BC of Thasos. Poet of the Old Comedy (preserved is a fragment of the Philínna, cf. PCG V 547) and first professional parodist (παρῳδός/ parōidós, Aristot. Poet. 1448a 12f.).
