[English version] Numidische Stadt (Numidae). Hier lagerten die Schätze des Iugurtha, deren sich der in propraetorischer Funktion agierende Legat A. Postumius (vgl. Postumius [I 9]) bemächtigen wollte (Sall. Iug. 37,3; 38,2). S. lag auf der Höhe eines steilen ‘Berges’ und war ‘von einer schlammigen Ebene umgeben’ (Sall. Iug. 37,4). Nach Oros. hist. 5,15,6 lagen die ‘königlichen Schätze bei der Stadt Calama’. Da S. aber nicht mit Calama gleichgesetzt werden kann, steht die Lokalisierung von S. noch aus.
