[German Version] The Comma Johanneum (“Johannine Comma”) is the short passage 1 John 5:7b–8a: “…in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one. [8] And there are three that testify on earth.” It does not appear in Greek texts before the 14th century. Five manuscripts include it in the text (minuscules 61, 629, 918, 2318, 2473); four others add it as a variant (88, 221, 429, 636).
