[English version] (Ἐργοκλῆς). Athenischer Stratege. Schloß sich 404/3 v.Chr. den Demokraten in Phyle an. Operierte 390/89 als Stratege mit Thrasybulos im Hellespont und an der kleinasiatischen Küste. Nach seiner Rückkehr wurde er wegen Unterschlagung, Bestechung und Amtsmißbrauchs angeklagt und zum Tode verurteilt; sein Vermögen wurde konfisziert (Lys. 28).
